JIJAKA is an Aboriginal word meaning "kangaroo”. Jijaka’s colourful, contemporary art tells the stories of desert and coastal tribes who have lived on the Australian continent for more than 40,000 years. Their corroboree ceremonies trace the ancient Dreamtime journeys of spirit ancestors, as they travel the vast Australian landscape.

Royalties from Jijaka sales support the Nangala Project, to relieve poverty and disadvantage amongst Australian Indigenous children and their families through creating locally engaged & sustainable opportunity.

Jijaka is a collection of artworks that were developed by a collective of Aboriginal artists working for the Jumbana Group over the course of 20+ years. All works within the Jijaka archive are now part of the National Museum of Australia's collection.

Our Stud earrings are all handmade so no pair is the exact same (Some pairs are even different colours but still cut from the same piece of material)

Bae Stud was created because everyday I found that I had lots of left over material and honestly didn't want to just throw it away. Personally I have an obsession with funky stud earrings (hey I'm a mum to a 17 month old so studs are life!).

The entire Bae Stud collection is made with gorgeous shiny silver settings that were extremely hard to find and they are Nickel and Lead free, which was VERY important to me as I have super sensitive ears and want to be able to wear the earrings I have created!

Please treat your earrings with care, If dropped or stored incorrectly, they may break or become damaged in some way.

Follow these helpful tips:

-Store them in a clean, dry environment, preferably in separate boxes or in an earring holder/stand

-Avoid contact with cosmetics, perfumes, hairspray and moisturisers as this may damage your earrings.

-Your earrings do not like to get wet! So please remove BEFORE you enter water.

-Please treat your earrings with kindness and clean them with a jewellery polishing cloth.

And last of all, if you have ANY questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me.
